Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native, born in poor conditions in September 16th, 1958. Her father was a car salesman, while her mother was a teacher. Jennifer was the youngest of the four children in her family often accompanied her mother to performances in the theater and was awed by her. Jennifer's divorce was finalized at the age of five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood at British Columbia after her mom moved there along with the other four children. Jennifer did not appear to be a scholarly type, despite the fact that she was quite artistic in her youth. In Canadian schools, her experiences caused her to be often the target of bullying. When her enthusiasm for theatre diminished as she entered high school, she began playing in theatre with her mother. She encouraged her kids to be passionate about the arts. She immediately took actions.
